The band was founded in Sofia.BG in 2008 as a one-man folk/black metal project by Hristo Penev . The sound of Balkhara
gradually evolved into "Vintage Dark Rock" - a mixture of Heavy/Alternative Rock with strong melancholic feel and some oriental and jazzy influences. We are mostly proud with our second album "Dustbow"
Disbanded in early 2014.
